Dog Walking Service
Cold Noses offers a Dog Walking Service in the Bolton & Chorley areas. If you are too busy to care for your dog(s) as you would like to, due to work or family commitments or a busy lifestyle, or you just have difficulty getting out and about, Cold Noses can offer you a reliable and trustworthy alternative. The service operates on weekdays (excluding Bank Holidays) between 9am - 5pm and includes the following:
- A free initial visit to meet owner and dog and discuss requirements.
- Free use of towels (for wet days, and to avoid muddy pawprints on your carpet) and poop scoop bags.
- A full hours walking within your local area. If shorter walks are required, e.g. for older dogs or puppies, these will be charged at the hourly rate to take into account travelling time and fuel costs. Dogs will only be exercised off the lead with the owner's written permission and only where it is safe and away from main roads.
- Complete peace of mind - Cold Noses has full Public Liability Insurance (with Care, Custody and Control extension (Liability to Animals) and Loss of Keys cover) and is Police Checked (CRB) to verify trustworthiness (certificates available to view at the initial visit).
- Assurance that your dog will be transported safely - the Cold Noses vehicle is equipped with a dog cage and driven by myself, an Advanced Driver, and a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
- A maximum of 3 dogs walked at any one time. Dogs will often be walked on their own, but this cannot always be guaranteed, particularly at popular times such as lunchtimes (between 11am and 2pm).
Cold Noses requests that all dogs are vaccinated, insured, micro-chipped, that they wear a dog collar with identity tag (a legal requirement), and that vaccination and insurance certificates are made available to view at the initial visit. I will provide an additional tag to be worn by dogs whilst in my care. I regret that for safety reasons I am unable to walk very powerful dogs, dogs which are aggressive to either humans or other dogs, and bitches which are in season.
If you have a new puppy, which is not yet able to go out, I can spend an hour playing with him/her and helping with housetraining and all the little day-to-day things a pup needs to learn!
I will also put fresh water in your dog's bowl before I leave and ensure he/she is left safe and secure.
I will maintain regular contact with you either by 'phone, text or notes to update you on your dog's progress and can even text you a photo of your dog on his/her walk!
Payments can be made by standing order, by debit/credit card or by cash/cheque.
If you need further information, or would like to discuss your dog's walking requirements, please feel free to contact me, Carolyn, on 07840 916856 and I will do my best to help.
