Dog Walking Service
Cold Noses offers a Dog Walking Service in Horwich and surrounding areas & Chorley, Lancashire. If you are too busy to care for your dog(s) as you would like to, due to work or family commitments or a busy lifestyle, if you don't really want to take your dog out in the cold and dark after a long day's work, or you just have difficulty getting out and about, Cold Noses can offer you a reliable and trustworthy alternative. The service operates on weekdays (excluding Bank Holidays) between 9am - 5pm, in all weathers, and includes the following:
- A free initial visit to meet owner and dog and discuss requirements.
- Free use of towels (for wet days, and to avoid muddy pawprints on your carpet) and poop scoop bags.
- A full hours walking in the countryside surrounding the Horwich/Chorley area. Dogs will be exercised off the lead only with the owner's written permission and only where it is safe and away from main roads.
- Fresh water in your dog's bowl after every walk.
- Regular contact with you either by 'phone, text or notes to update you on your dog's antics, including text photos and video clips on YouTube!
- Complete peace of mind - Cold Noses has full Public Liability Insurance (with Care, Custody and Control extension (Liability to Animals) and Loss of Keys cover) and is Police Checked (CRB) to verify trustworthiness. Certificates are available to view at the initial visit but a copy of the latest Pet Business Insurance can also be viewed in the 'Gallery and Testimonials' section.
- A maximum of 3 dogs walked at any one time. Dogs are naturally pack animals and love to go for walks together. The limit of 3 dogs per walk ensures each receives the maximum attention and can be supervised effectively.
- Puppy Visits - Two half-hour visits (mid-morning and mid-afternoon) - typically includes feeding, playing and a short walk.
Cold Noses requests that all dogs are vaccinated, insured and micro-chipped, and that they wear a dog collar with identity tag showing surname, address and contact number (The Control of Dogs Order 1992). Vaccination and insurance certificates should be up-to-date and made available to view at the initial visit. Although I am able to walk large dogs, I regret that for safety reasons I am unable to walk excessively powerful dogs or dogs which are aggressive to either humans or other dogs.
If you are unsure whether Cold Noses is right for you and your dog(s), why not have a look at some of the comments in the 'Gallery and Testimonials' section.
Payments can be made by standing order, by bank transfer, or by cash/cheque.(Prices shown on separate page).
